The spacious rooms are decorated with Renaissance frescoes and some have balconies. The master of the house, Antonello, who speaks French, will be happy to show you around the monastery and share his passion for the place. Add to this a hearty breakfast and a caring staff and you will have an excellent reason to extend your stay.

Relais Monastero Santa Teresa, a historical monument, is a Baronial Palace of the XIII century, converted into a cloistered Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites in 1600 following the donation of Baron Sambiasi. Today, the Relais offers itself as an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday in an ancient and prestigious building, near the most beautiful beaches of Salento, the National Park of Porto Selvaggio and the most important baroque towns. The spacious bright rooms with antique floors and frescoed ceilings recall the charm of the nobility from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The balconies and terraces of the Palazzo offer breathtaking views onto baroque churches and the garden. The ground floor leads to the Monastery with its impressive high vaults scupltured by Tarantino and the medieval church, which identifies itself as the perfect place for any type of ceremony and event. The Relais is located in the historical center of Nardò next to the Bishop's Palace and the Cathedral.
