One hundred metres from the sea and close to the city centre, Villa Raffaella is an old Liberty-style palace that offers classic and superior rooms, as well as apartments (from 2 to 4 people) decorated with coquetry, some of which offer a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. Each apartment has a kitchenette, a living room and independent access. The "tramontana" is the smallest apartment, but certainly the most charming, with its large windows offering a spectacular view of the Gulf of Otranto.

La nostra camera al piano terra ampia e spaziosa con bagno grande e doccia con (sorpresa) lettino idromassaggio,

Personale gentilissimo e professionale, posizione ottima, la villa è molto bella negli esterni ma gli interni sono molto, molto approssimativi. Peccato.

La mia permanenza in questo albergo è stata un'esperienza deludente sotto molti aspetti. La nostra camera era estremamente spartana, con un bagno cieco privo di ventilazione e una disposizione dei sanitari talmente scomoda che non era neppure possibile sedersi comodamente. La doccia emanava un odore sgradevole (tipo di aceto), e in tutta la camera c'era un forte odore di prodotti chimici per la pulizia. Durante la notte, la pioggia ha causato infiltrazioni d'acqua da sotto la porta, creando ulteriori disagi. Inoltre, ho notato la presenza frequente di insetti, in particolare millepiedi, che entravano nella camera attraverso la stessa porta, rendendo l'ambiente meno igienico.
Da aggiungere a tutto ciò, la camera era situata proprio sotto la sala dove venivano servite le colazioni, il che significava che dopo le 8 non è stato possibile dormire. Nel complesso, questa è stata un'esperienza negativa, e non posso dare più di due stelle come valutazione per questo albergo.
