Everything perfect ! Amazing central / water side location, lovely room (beamed ceiling), incredible breakfast, super helpful and friendly staff and wonderful terrace with views over the sea / harbour. Our trip was in early April (was very quiet) but mid summer probably noisier / busy in the town generally, but this stay at this period was fantastic!

Un endroit niché sur les hauteurs de Otranto avec une terrasse vue port et mer qui rend magique l'endroit. Le personnel est au petit soin, nous sommes arrivés là bas suite à une grosse déconvenue à Torre San Giovanni et ils nous ont trouvé une chambre avec balcon juste wahou. Services de qualité tant sur le petit dej, que sur les recommandations des restaurants, activités etc. Un merveilleux souvenir gravé dans nos mémoires pour notre lune de miel. Gabriel et Élodie

Réservation compliquée, mauvaise surprise une fois sur place de voir que notre réservation a été annulée et nous en avions pas été informés. Le réceptionniste bien que compréhensif et désolé de la situation n'a pas été capable de nous proposer une solution.
La vue sur la terrasse est magnifique et l'hôtel est très bien situé.

Der Standort ist perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden (Achtung: Parkplätze sind etwas abseits).

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich - kurzfristige Probleme etc. wurden sofort gelöst.

Un endroit original et superbe. La terrase du petit déjeuner sur la mer, la qualité de l'accueil et les conseils sur les restaurants, l'aménagement des chambres sont au top. Alors oui il faut y accéder mais l'endroit mérite un petit effort. Nous avons adoré notre séjour en famille.

Direct in the small old town

I stayed at Palazzo de Mori, in Otranto in April 2023. I only stayed for one night, and wish I had stayed longer.

I corresponded with Sergio when I was selecting this hotel, and he was very helpful and informative.

The gentleman that greeted me and checked me in was particularly professional, efficient, and friendly. I felt comfortable from arrival through checkout.

I had a fantastic room, with a wonderful view looking out over the Marina. I was on a bicycle tour around Puglia, and they were very welcoming. I was able to park my bicycle in their secure courtyard overnight. My room was perfect. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. It had all the things a traveler could expect.

The breakfast was wonderful, and served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the marina. The ladies that served the breakfast greeted me with warm smiles, and brought delicious coffee. I would not hesitate in recommending Palazzo de Mori, or staying there again. My only regret was that I only stayed one night. If I had known how nice it was I would have shortened a stay someplace else, and stayed another day in Otranto.

Si è quindi costretti ad utilizzare posteggi lontani, collegati comunque da appositi mezzi.
Si è ripagati dalla invidiabile posizione, buone camere pulite e funzionali ed una eccellente colazione.

Endroit à choisir principalement pour la vue de sa terrasse et son emplacement en plein centre historique de la ville. La chambre est correcte, assez spacieuse, propre MAIS sans climatisation. Par ailleurs, pour l accueil, c’est suivant la chance que vous avez: si vous tombez sur des dames, ce sera gentil et chaleureux, si c’est l homme, vous aurez juste droit au mieux, à un bonjour froid! Mais bon, on n’y va pas pour ça! Au rayon des inconvénients : le parking est loin! 12-13 minutes à pied, TOUT EN MONTÉE! Ils proposent un service pour venir chercher et apporter vos bagages, mais c’est en supplément! Autre désagrément: les moisissures dans la douche! Elles ne datent pas d hier et ne sont jamais nettoyées! Nous sommes restés 3 jours et rien n a changé à ce niveau! Je reste encore dans les points un peu négatifs, le déjeuner! Si vous aimez le sucré, ce sera fort bien! Pour le salé, vous ne pourrez qu être déçus tant l offre est limitée! Le jus d orange est dilué et le café, en capsules! Ce dernier point est vraiment dommage en Italie! Dernier point d attention: le quartier est bruyant le soir et au début de la nuit! Beaucoup de cafés aux alentours, et comme il n’y a pas de climatisation, il faut dormir fenêtre ouverte, ce qui est problématique !

Bref, vue magnifique de la terrasse, idéalement situé, mais pour le reste, c’est juste moyen, ce qui rend l endroit cher pour les prestations offertes!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa location da sogno in occasione del matrimonio di mia sorella. Eravamo alla ricerca di un luogo esclusivo e raffinato e siamo stati accontentati pienamente. La bellezza e la magia del posto è indiscutibile, con i suoi arredi, la terrazza che offre un panorama mozzafiato sul porto di Otranto, le camere funzionali, silenziose, comodissime sotto ogni aspetto! Ma quello che mi preme sottolineare è l'accoglienza, la cortesia e la gentilezza con cui siamo stati accolti. La signora responsabile dell'hotel ci ha coccolato e lasciato libertà di movimento, nonostante fossimo una famiglia numerosa.
Ed ancora, la mattina del matrimonio, è stato commovente, per noi, ricevere il sostegno della signora Laura e della ragazza della receptionist (mi perdonerà se non ricordo il suo nome, ma è ugualmente nei nostri cuori!) per fare in modo che mia sorella non inciampasse nel suo vaporoso abito, scendendo le scale, accompagnandola sino al luogo in cui l'avrebbe attesa la macchina nuziale. Sono state a dir poco straordinarie!
E, non da ultimo, il meraviglioso ed eccezionale supporto di Matteo, caro amico ed una parte essenziale nella buona riuscita dell'evento! È inusuale incontrare persone di questo calibro, dal cuore generoso! Avete reso il nostro soggiorno speciale e vi ringraziamo dal più profondo del cuore, auspicando di tornarci in un futuro non troppo lontano! GRAZIE. Con affetto. Mariella

Che posto meraviglioso! Una chicca affacciata sul mare, arredata benissimo e molto pulito. La colazione è ottima e tutto il personale è gentile, cortese e disponibile! Torneremo sicuramente!

First thing we didn't like is that our room was beside reception and toilet totally small and not window. When we arrive we realised is not a hotel it’s a b&b. When we searched the hotel which we filtered as hotel only, this B&b showed up. For the look of the hotel in the website and description to us looked like a hotel and we booked. The room didn’t have safe box and the property entrance to get in and out works with codes and keys through three different doors and stairs. Breakfast is serve in the reception or in that lovely balcony they have but exposed with 80% in pure hot sun so only one lucky couple can enjoy that 20% of shade left. Breakfast is average with lots of Italian cakes some of them not daily fresh, coffee comes from a small coffee machine not great, fruits are nice the best in my opinion of all. The rest cheap slices of supermarket breads, and not savoury food at all except few cold meats. The worst of all is the two staff member attitude in reception welcome specially a guy call Mateo. As we were a bit not happy with our room location their immediately respond to us was like arguing to us like if we were brothers or friends. After a little arguing they told us we could change to an other room then an other girl staff member joined the argument and they decided we couldn’t actually change to other room then we want to cancel so we would stay the first night only and cancel the other two they say ok at first but then they changed their mind and told us no you can’t do that that we have to pay in full for the three nights. We gave up and decide to stay and enjoy the beautiful town and forget about the b&b issue and it was fine. On check out and this is the worst of everything we order with them a taxi to take us to the station which is the same taxi we ordered with them on our arrival, this is their private taxi agreement with extra charging of course. They only gave us one time option which it was to early for us. They say then they can walk us to the station which it will take only 10 min. After 5 min walk they left us to walk by ourself indicating us where the station is exactly, two blocks further around that corner she said and left us there keep walking. I gave her tip for that. It ended up being not the right place, we ended up in the middle of a deserted road midday 34 degree on a local bus stop with nobody there! We rang the B&b they said oh sorry and sent us a taxi we paid the taxi of course because b&b would not take responsibility for this mistake and luckily just on time we managed to get to the station and get our already booked bus to Lecce. That’s truly the worst experience I ever had with a hotel or B&b for the cost of €680 for three nights. Absolutely not recommended better a hotel a bit outside the town.
