AMTAB (Azienda Mobilità e Trasporti Autobus Bari) manages public transport in the metropolitan area of Bari. The website is very useful to know the different bus lines and the changes to make to get from A to B in Bari. Line 16 is the cheapest way (€1.50) to get from the airport to Bari's central station; the service runs between 5am and 11pm with a bus every 40 minutes. The journey takes about an hour, depending on traffic.
