Family-run inn with a dozen rooms and a restaurant, located in the village of San Andrés
Located in the village of San Andrés, this family inn with a dozen rooms is built in guadua and wood. Pleasant facilities and a charming welcome from the owners, Eva and Leonardo. Dormitories and private rooms, with private or shared bathrooms. The restaurant of the same name is across the street, a stone's throw from the bus stop. It is the best option in the area for lunch or dinner (until 7pm only!), with a simple but tasty daily menu.

La Portada is a special inn situated in a quiet but vibrant rural community. The rooms are simple and straightforward and there are nice outdoor areas for relaxing. We spent 3 wonderful nights there while visiting the UNESCO archaeological sites in the surrounding area. Our hosts, Leonardo and Eva María are genuine and warm and are committed to providing their visitors an authentic visit. Leonardo was a fantastic guide to all of the sites for 2 entire days. We ate all of our meals in the restaurant. María Eva’s food is terrifically fresh and tasty including homemade breads and jams. We highly recommend staying here and wish we could return again.
