Archaeological museum and ethnographic museum with interesting explanations of colonial life and indigenous rites

The archaeological museum and the ethnographic museum are united in the same house at the entrance of the park. Two small museums to be visited before starting the hike in the archaeological park, in order to better understand all the richness of the funerary art of Tierradentro and of the Paéz culture. Various stone and ceramic pieces, trapiches (for grinding sugar cane) are presented, as well as interesting explanations about colonial life and indigenous rites.

Petits musées mais quelques œuvres intéressantes, permet de mieux comprendre ce que l’on va voir in-situ.

Les deux musées se trouvent côte à côte. Quand je suis allée sur place pour les visiter, la scénographie n'était pas achevée et notamment le musée d'archéologie allait être agrandi. donc tout était un peu désuet mais pourtant les pièces étaient interéssantes.
Les deux musées sont très petits et se visitent en 30 minutes.
En attente de rénovation....
