Pereira Art Museum presenting a collection of local artists' works and exhibitions of modern and contemporary art
In the center, not far from the bus station, the Pereira Art Museum presents a fine collection of works by local artists (María de la Paz Jaramillo, Nelson Sánchez, Lorenzo Jaramillo...) and foreigners, as well as quality temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. One room is dedicated to the visual arts and another to the audiovisual arts. There is also a large cinema with 300 seats and a media library. The place is pleasant and the entrance fee is modest. Good for those who live or stay a few days in Pereira.
