5 minutes from the beach, Divanga is a friendly and colorful hostel, set up about 15 years ago by the charismatic Lucie, French, but Taganguera by adoption! Private rooms (private bathroom) and dormitories (for 3 to 6 people) well equipped. The rooms open onto a shaded patio full of plants, in the middle of which is a pretty swimming pool. Tropical decor with palm roofs and hammocks. Two terraces with a bar-resto offer a panoramic view and beautiful sunsets. Lots of good advice on site.

Owner's Message

Divanga is your second home. The atmosphere of the hostel is relaxed and familiar. You can relax, meet other travelers and enjoy our pool.

Our restaurant is a delight for our guests. With a French inspired menu, you will find a variety of balanced dishes. Meat, fish, vegetables, vegetarian/vegan options, there is something for everyone.

Our continental breakfast is prepared on site every morning. We even make our own bread and jam!

Divanga is nestled in the small fishing village of Taganga.

In this part of the city of Santa Marta, the road ends. Taganga is a village sleeping in the arms of the mountain and bordering the Tayrona Park. Here you will find rest, peace and a breath of freedom.

Fishermen of tradition, the inhabitants are friendly and smiling. They are proud of their village and welcome all passers-by. You will most likely stay longer than expected.

Less than 5 minutes from the beach, Divanga has a great view of Taganga from its bar.

During the day, you can enjoy the beautiful beaches around or go scuba diving. Diving is one of the main activities in Taganga. Whether you want to get your license or just do a fun dive, Taganga is the perfect place for it.

In the evening, you can have a beer or a cocktail at our bar and enjoy a small dish prepared by our chef.

Divanga is also an excellent base camp for visiting the surrounding area. Around Taganga, you will find the Tayrona Park, a marvel of Colombia with its beautiful beaches. You will also find some coolness in Minca, a town in the middle of the jungle and the mountain.

Very nice hostel, staff were super helpful and friendly, they have drinkable water, free coffee, a free pool table and a really good restaurant.
