Staying there for the last week or so, it's a good place with nice pool and a nice swimming pool... I highly recommend trying one of Pipe's cocktails.. he makes the best drinks!

I really loved our stay at the Dreamer hostel! Beautiful and big hostel with swimming pool and a nice bar/restaurant. The food was very good and the employees were all very kind. Also the location is perfect, just a few minutes walk and you’re at the beautiful Palomino beach. Would definitely recommend!

Very Nice Hostel with a good common area and a pool. The music is nice and the barman Pipe is a perfect cocktail maker ????

Lovely hostel with relaxed friendly vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful with local advice and the food was delicious. The air con in the private room was a blessing and the hostel is in the perfect location for the local buses to Tyrona or Minca - and they stored our bags for free too! Cute hostel kitty too!

Buena atención, Gabriel el chico de recepción muy amable y atento en el tema de la reserva. Las isntalaciones del hotel son muy agrables y queda ubicado en una zona tranquila, cerca del comercio, terminal de transporte y aeropueto. Buenos precios. A pesar de que solo estube una noche no dudaria en volver a hospedarme ahi.

I LOVE THIS HOSTEL! We stayed 3 times as it was a great base for going to Minca, Tayrona and the Lost City. Each time we made sure to stay a few nights so we could enjoy the pool and the general relaxed vibe of dreamer. The whole place is super clean and tidy. All the staff are super helpful and speak English and Spanish. Special mention to Christina who was always there to help us! The private rooms are comfortable, cool (aircon) and clean. The kitchen and terrace are spacious and well equipped. The pool is divine! Papi at the bar is a gem, always bringing the vibe! I would 100% stay here again if I came back to Santa Marta.

Very nice hostel! Nice atmosphere. I was there only for one night because I had to be close to the bus terminal to take a morning bus. Location is perfect for taking the bus, not so much for exploring Santa Marta.

We stayed in a big and clean private room. AC was in good condition. There was an electric kettle, coffee, teas in our room, Pool is always clean. The shared bathrooms were clean. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere because downtown is crazy and busy. Another reason for why we chose this hostel is because it is close to the main road where our shuttle dropped us from Minca. We also took buses to Taganga and downtown. On the opposite side of the road we took a bus to Tayrona Park, Mendihuaca and Palomino.
There is a supermarket in the bus stop and a shopping mall 8 min walking, local restaurants and the bus terminal is close too.

Heerlijk hostel! Onze privé-kamer was groot met airco en fijne badkamer. Lekker dat er een waterkoker op de kamer was voor een kopje thee 's avonds. We zijn het hostel eigenlijk niet uit geweest omdat de sfeer en het zwembad zo chill waren. Alles wat uit de keuken komt is lekker! Je moet er even op wachten maar dan heb je ook wat! Zeker aan te raden dit hostel.

Todo el personal que trabaja aquí es muy amable y eso marca una diferencia !! La habitación con FAN es regular, pero las instalaciones de zonas comunes están muy bien y cómodas
Fue mi destino antes de ir hacia la montaña por lo que la ubicación me acomodo, más si buscas algo cerca del centro o la playa aquí te quedaría lejos igual

The welcome tour was great and staffs are kind and honest.It has pool and rooms are clean.The reception staff has great knowledge and was really helpful in explaining all my queries.The environement is all smooth and pleasant.I highly recommend if u r staying at santa marta

First my reason for the mediocre rating: the bartender did not wash his hands after using the toilet. That kind of makes me question the generell hygiene.
Apart from that the Dreamer is a typical party-backpacker hostal. My private room looked clean and there is an AC. The music from the pool bar is not too loud but you can still hear it in the room. The bed was a little bit too hard for my taste.

Really chill Hostel. Good for relaxing and recovering. Good Food and really nice drinks. Nice Pool, beerpong and Billard ????????

One was there in November 2016. The double room is 180,000 COP, breakfast with 9,500.
If you pay with a credit card, you surtaxes you from 5%. That is to say saying their bank requires it, argument: international menu. If you want to avoid the surtax, you are invited to pay in cash. I checked near Visa Colombia, this surtax is not legal. And near Visa France it is ripped off!
Moreover they tell the same story with Colombians who do not have a foreign maps…

Dormí en el dormitorio de mujeres con baño privado, y la cama era realmente suave y cómoda. Hay una cocina en el hostal donde los cocineros preparan platos deliciosos (también con alternativas vegetarianas para los que no comen carne).
Durante el día puedes disfrutar de la piscina, siempre muy limpia, y de un buen cóctel que te prepara Pipe, el mejor barman que conocí en mi viaje a Colombia. Su pinacolada es la mejor que he tomado desde que estoy en tierras colombianas... es una persona especial, con buen rollo y excelente gusto musical (su música encaja a la perfección en todos los momentos del día).
Además todos los chicos de la recepción siempre fueron muy amables y serviciales.
¡Recomiendo este establecimiento si pasas por Santa Marta!
