This cafeteria-bar opened in 1965. The Barranquilla Group (including Álvaro Cepeda Samudio and Gabriel García Márquez) used to come here to finish their evenings, chatting with Olinda Rivero, the mother of Daniel, the current owner. La Tiendecita became the place to see and be seen, and the walls are full of photos of politicians, sportsmen, musicians... The typical cuisine of the coast is ideal for your cholesterol: chicharrones morbosos, sancocho trifasico, or mondongo levantamuerto. It was distinguished as gastronomic heritage of the city in 2010!
