Ville coloniale difficilement accessible, ce qui fait qu'elle a gardé sont authenticité.
Le long des quais, se trouve l'animation le soir venu et aussi la pirogue pour aller faire une superbe escapade fluviale dans les marais pour y voir une partie de la faune et flore locale.
