This museum allows you to dive into the intimacy of one of the greatest figures in the history of Latin America
Built in 1793, at the foot of Cerro Monserrate, this house was the home of the Libertador between 1821 and 1825 (423 non-consecutive days to be exact, which makes it the longest stay that Bolivar made in a house during his adult life!) Surrounded by beautiful gardens that make us forget the hustle and bustle of the city, this magnificent and well-preserved colonial house allows us to plunge into the intimacy of one of the greatest figures in Latin American history. Visit (guided at certain times) before or after a trip to Monserrate.

Outre la demeure centrale avec salons, chambre et salle à manger et les dépendances (cuisines, cellier et écuries) avec ustensiles d'époque, la promenade dans le grand jardin botanique passe par le potager et mène au réservoir d'eau qui alimentait les nombreuses rigoles d'irrigation.
