CATHEDRAL OF THE ANNUNCIATION (СОБОР СОБОР)

The cathedral was built in 1901, but these wooden foundations succumbed to many fires that often breed in its premises. Rebuilt between 1888-1901, the church was closed by the Bolsheviks in 1930 until 1948. Today, the cathedral is one of the main sights of Kharkiv and an important place of pilgrimage for Orthodox people under the Moscow Patriarchate.
