OUSPENSKY CATHEDRAL (СОБОР СОБОР)

This church, which is often donated by organ concerts, is part of the great university of Kharkiv. Built in 1777 in baroque style, it is one of the city's most beautiful monuments. Designed by the architect Vasiliev, a new steeple was added to celebrate the victory of the Russian army against Napoleon's troops. It is also the tallest building in the city, and every hour its bell echoes on all streets. An organ was recently installed and the church regularly hosts classical musicians or traditional music groups.
