CATHEDRAL OF TRANSFIGURATION (КАФЕДРАЛЬНИЙ СОБОР СОБОР)

Built between 1830 and 1835 in Russian classical style, this church is the largest of Dnipro. After 1917, she should have been destroyed like many other churches, but she was rescued by Dmytro Yavornytsky, at the time, the director of the Historic Museum, who proposed retaining it to become a museum of Atheism.
