CENTRAL TAURIDE MUSEUM (ТАВРИДЫ ЦЕНТРАЛЬНЫЙ ЦЕНТРАЛЬНЫЙ)

The museum has been in the former Regional Parliament since 1921, following the reconciliation of the collections of the museums of the scientific archives and the Botanical Museum of Tauris Zemstvo. More than 100 000 works, including small treasures such as a unique collection of Russian and Western paintings dedicated to Tavrichesky, or Chersonèse taurique, former name of Crimea. The museum is divided into several sections: the Crimean landscape, the history of Tavrida and the modern history of the region presenting the last two wars.
