Armenians are one of the oldest communities in Ukraine. Armenian settlements existed in Lviv, Kiev, Kamyanets-Podilsky and Crimea. The colony of Lviv formed during the th century. Merchants and artisans contribute significantly to the development of the city. At the end of the th century, they were completely assimilated and their family names filled. A true architectural jewel, this cathedral consists of several parts, the oldest of which, in the south, dates back to 1363. It houses tombs of the old Armenian cemetery that remained active from the th to the th century. The interior deserves a detour. At the entrance a beautiful mosaic welcomes the faithful. The murals date back to the beginning of the th century in a surprisingly surprising modern style, including the surprising burial of Saont Odello on the left wall. In the courtyard (entrance to the côté side. Virmens'ka), one can distinguish a wooden Golgotha. Here we turned some scenes of the film D'Artagnan and three musketeers (USSR, 1979). Outside the courtyard is a beautiful wooden sculpture representing Saint Christophe (1726) from which it is said that it marks the centre of Europe.
