PALAIS DES CONGRÈS CAP D'AGDE MÉDITERRANÉE
Inaugurated on 25 April 2019, the new Cap d'Agde Méditerranée Convention Centre boasts a very contemporary silhouette in immaculate white with its immense fresco created in a metal mesh by the famous artist from Sète, Hervé di Rosa. Central, it is located two minutes walk from the port and its shops, making it easily accessible. Particularly modern, its architecture allows it to host all kinds of events: conferences, cultural exhibitions, gala evenings, shows, concerts... Its body consists of an auditorium with three gauges (300 to 648, or 1148 seats), a panoramic area of 370 m², an exhibition room of 325 m² and 6 modular sub-commission rooms from 40 to 250 m². Plural, the venue serves as a setting for various disciplines ranging from dance to theatre and humour, making it a major player in the area. Although it is particularly active during the summer, with the organisation of several events and performances, its long-term objective is to attract an off-season audience and to affirm the presence of the resort in the cultural landscape of Hérault. An ambition that seems to be bearing fruit.
