Restaurant with delicate cuisine inspired by the Mediterranean and the Occitan region

This restaurant has been an institution for almost 100 years! Created in 1931, it is now run by the fourth generation of restaurant owners in the Abadie family. Clinging to the port, rue de la Gabelle, it offers a nice view of the boats and the Great Wheel of the Cape. In a rather modern setting, made of light and pastel colors, the team elaborates a delicate cuisine from high quality products. Particularly inspired by the Mediterranean and the Occitan region, the cooks concoct tasty dishes, full of character.

Bonne découverte que celle de ce restaurant ; une promo alléchante du midi, nous a permis de découvrir une qualité de cuisine, un accueil et un service agréable. Un menu proposé à moins de 17 € offrait une soupe de poissons gourmande servie en soupière, un plat de poissons bien préparé. Petit bémol, victime de son succès, il ne restaient plus les desserts souhaités mais les propositions étaient très gourmandes.

Nous vous suggérons cette adresse (coordonnées trouvées sur un autre guide) car parmi les restaurants testés cet été au Cap d'Agde, nous avons trouvé qu'il était l'un des meilleurs pour la qualité du service, la saveur de la cuisine (fruits de mer et poissons grillés nous concernant) et sa salle climatisée où les tables couvertes de nappes blanches sont disposées à distance permettant ainsi une certaine confidentialité et garantissant une ambiance calme propice à la dégustation.
