Atypical farm offering snowshoeing in winter or summer hikes

In a 14th century farmhouse built by the monks of the Chalais order, Jean-Pierre and Nathalie warmly welcome you in a charming setting full of history. Jean-Pierre is a ski instructor and will suggest snowshoeing in winter or summer hiking in summer. Nathalie, attentive hostess, will tell you the history of this atypical farm. At the table d'hôtes, she will propose you to discover tasty local specialities. In this place with a historical past, each stone, each beam tells its own story...

We came 5 days in half-board at the time the New Year's Day 2013: 2 adults and 2 children. The reception has been relatively warm in the early then less later. The meals before the New Year's Day were good (either the first 2 nights) because one evening ago of stew and another evening of tartiflette and the first night entrance was simpler than the other people who had come just for the meal, and the day not after salad with tartiflette. No choice of dessert and the entrance while the telephone Mrs Riehl had been us that it could do with us for meals and especially that of children. From the New Year's Day, there were many problems: the meal provided in writing by Madame Riehl did not correspond: it missed green beans, morillas con Dauphinois, the cheese farandole and 13 desserts. From this evening there, we had the last 2 nights of soup and dry rice with a little sauce with meat one evening and the last evening: chicken leg with pasta seasoned with tomato puree. The promise of the early had disappeared, for example, L '' one of my children does not such as milk, then as a result the dishes from all were made according to him: more dairy product for person in the dishes. We did not include this change. In short, There was dol over the New Year's Day, and a clear deterioration of the meals. We did not say anything and we pay without any play. This is why we have made this opinion, so other people are not made have and that Mrs Riehl considers her guests without missing better honesty: it was due TV, when I asked it, Mme Riehl answered me " why do? " For breakfast, we had actually including indicated it another person of the toast each morning with an orange juice and an apple toto juice one of my children, homemade jam and NEVER of fruit pastry neither, no honey or an ordinary cake. We pay a total fee of €100 for New Year's Day that is not motivated. Madame Riehl commissioned us in front of the children if very had happened well and it had to go away at the time of payment, we did not make any comment.
We appreciated setting, the house, and the ski area, but we have the feeling to us have made on the service offered. Pity since that would have pû to be well and to give us the desire for unwinding and .....

A magical break!
What a pleasure to be able to spend a few days to skiing, without themselves above, in a stunning setting with stunning panorama without breaking!
We have an excellent stay accompanied by Nathalie, Jean Pierre Riehl, the owners of the place.
Nathalie prepares every evening delicious meals often local flavours. It always took care to prepare different menus for children, which is very pleasant.
Jean Pierre, ski instructor, are the best guide and advisor where you can find
Their welcome was very warm, we have a baby, they had planned a baby cot, which was even open on our arrival.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, there are splendid terraces overlooking the mountains... you can breathe!
Finally, the station is for us a discovery! a very nice ski area, a warm welcome, easy access to the valley... that good!
We recommend!
