BATUKARU ASCENT

Mount Batukaru is the second highest peak on the Island of the Gods. It culminates at an altitude of 2,276 metres. On a clear day, you can see the lake region by taking a little height, a sublime viewpoint. To climb it, you must start hiking in Wongayagede, the village located 2 kilometers from the Pura Luhur Batukaru temple, the directional temple of the mountain that watches over western Bali.
