FESTIVAL DEL CHAPÍN

Fish and seafood lovers, this event is for you! The tiny town of Naguabo, in the east of Puerto Rico, celebrates a local fish, the chapín, for three days. Music, entertainment, games, fishing activities, local handicrafts and gastronomy are on the program of this small and friendly festival. The waterfront, then very animated, takes on the appearance of a crusade. Puerto Ricans love to get together and enjoy their food. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the alcapurrias with chapin and stuffed rice.
