CATEDRAL DE SAN FRUCTUOSO

The Cathedral of San Fructuoso, dedicated to the bishop Saint Fructuoso of Tarragona, is considered the most fascinating building in the city from an architectural point of view. Its construction began in 1899 and it was inaugurated in 1917 in Plaza 19 de Abril. Built in a neo-Romanesque style and designed by the architect Antonio Llambías de Olivar, its tower stands 35 meters high while its facade, decorated with stained glass windows, includes a Roman numeral clock.
