TANQUE DE OSE

This 600,000-liter drinking water tank was built in 1948 and designed by architect L. Boggiani. It is 35 meters high. Today, the OSE reservoir supplies both Nueva Helvecia and Valdense, located 7.5 km away. And for the more adventurous tourists, a lookout point has been built on its summit to admire the view. In short, this reservoir is an emblematic monument of the city, so famous that it can even be found on postcards in souvenir stores (much more interesting than a "I love Nueva Helvecia" mug).
