Since 1999, the Centro de Tortugas Marinas allows videos and documents to learn everything about sea turtles and freshwater turtles in Uruguay and around the world. The various species present in Uruguay are the The Tortue turtle, the turtle Cabezona, the turtle Verde and Olivácea. Species in rehabilitation are housed in this centre.
