PLAZA VIRGILIO
Urban site
Recommended
This urban park, which is frequented for leisure activities and cultural events, was inaugurated in 1943 in honor of the Roman poet Virgil and was designed by the French landscape architect Charles Racine. It offers a breathtaking view of the River Plate and houses a memorial to a tragic accident that occurred in 1954, created by the Spanish-Uruguayan sculptor Eduardo Díaz Yepes. The locals love this place to admire the beautiful sunset. Do not hesitate to join them to enjoy the show!
