MUSEO JUAN ZORRILLA DE SAN MARTÍN
Museum
Recommended
The Zorrilla Museum is housed in the summer residence of Juan Zorrilla de San Martin (1855-1931), a key figure in Uruguayan history during the Romantic era. This prominent lawyer and man became famous for his patriotic poem La Leyenda Patria , which greatly strengthened the national identity. The museum is small, but it has beautiful temporary exhibits and a library with copies of the best Uruguayan comics.
