Togetsu Bridge over the Katsura River has been a symbol of Arashiyama for over 400 years. From there, you can have a beautiful view of Arashiyama Mountain. This bridge appears in film scenes for its very picturesque side. It is possible to watch cormorant fishing in the summer, rent pleasure boats or go rafting in the river. To do this, you have to go higher from Kameoka station to do the "Hozugawa kudari". Information at the tourist office, schedules vary according to the season.
