Ryokan, 2 centuries old, located 10 minutes from the station, offering rooms with wooden balconies overlooking a small garden

A ten-minute walk from the station, this old ryokan dates back two centuries, but was nevertheless renewed in 2008. It is a popular address in Kyoto and must be booked well in advance. The rooms have wooden balconies overlooking a small Japanese style garden. The decoration is in the purest classic style of the local ryokan: a clean tatami room with only a calligraphy hanging in the tokonoma as decoration. English well spoken. Should be noted: a laundry is available, it is very useful in case of long trip.

La chambre était très belle et surtout, le futon était confortable pour dormir et je n'avais aucune douleur, donc j'étais heureux. Cependant, quelque chose de très triste s’est produit. J'ai appelé la réception vers 23h40, et quand j'ai confirmé qu'il y avait quelque chose que je voulais louer, j'ai entendu un soupir : "Euh... A cette heure..." Cela a été dit d'une voix qui a fait je me réveille. C'est dommage car l'autre service client était très sympa. C'est vrai que je me sentais mal d'appeler la réception en pleine nuit, mais je ne m'attendais pas à être traitée de la sorte. . . Choisissez bien votre hébergement...
