Value-for-money Ryokan in northern Kyoto, with rooms overlooking a garden

This ryokan is located in the north of Kyoto, in a quiet and enchanting place. The rooms of this big house straight out of a manga look onto a beautiful garden. Note that it is possible to use the washing and drying machines of the house, for a few yens. All that's left to do is to get ready to sleep on a futon placed on the tatami mats. The atmosphere and the experience of a traditional stay are assured for an unbeatable value for money. One drawback: the establishment does not serve dinner or breakfast.

Excellentes recommandations. Très heureux d'avoir suivi la suggestion du propriétaire et loué des vélos au "自転車屋 Bike Laboratory", très pratique.

Tout d'abord, le propriétaire est un homme formidable et nous a aidé partout où il le pouvait. L'ensemble de l'endroit et la chambre sont magnifiques, confortables et très propres. L'emplacement est situé dans un quartier calme mais suffisamment proche du centre ville. Je recommanderais cet endroit à 100%.

Quand je suis arrivé, j'y suis allé à pied depuis le métro et j'ai traîné mes bagages, donc j'ai trouvé que c'était un peu loin. Mais plus tard, j'ai découvert que le bus était très pratique et qu'il me permettait de voir Kyoto dans son intégralité et de découvrir la vie locale. Je l'aime.
Maison de style japonais, propriétaire sympathique, j'y suis resté trois jours et deux nuits, j'ai beaucoup vu Kyoto, et très bon marché, c'était super ! J'y retournerai et y resterai la prochaine fois que j'irai à Kyoto.
