The campground had excellent and friendly staff. The cuisine was wonderful and delicious. They offer various activities, including a boat trip, and also provide a beautiful sunset experience.

Great experience, wonderful staff and comfortable accommodation.
If I had to name something to improve, I would suggest a bigger ice machine.
Disappointed in the local fishermen that are depleting the fish stocks in the river with gill nets.
This needs to be stopped else one of the locations biggest assets will be lost.
Impressed by the good work of the lodge with its fish conservancy.

The Camp was very good,it was clean ,staff was friendly and the boat cruise was very good and interesting with Valentine. Besides the zipper on the tent that was not in a good condition there is really no reason to complain about the camp.

More camping oriented than other Gondwana lodges. Food was not very good though.

On the 4h of June 2023, somebody broke into our bakkie at Nkasa Rapara in the community camp site at 1:15 in the morning and stole my 2 cameras and my handbag out of the bakkie. We drove through to Katima Malilo to report the accident and the next night we slept at Zambezi Mubala Lodge.
We were traumatize but the assistant manager, Mr Henk Mulder, and this staff was so good to us and even gave us a free boat trip so that our stay with them could be memorable experience after what happened. He really went out of his way to help us to cover up our window until we could fix it in Botswana.
Zambezi Mubala is a must seen. We did a sunset cruise which was spectacular and the morning cruise. We saw so much birds and the river and surroundings is something you must experience for yourself.
Thank you Henk, we will be back. This time with new cameras.\

Man sollte 2 Nächte einplanen.

A wonderful experience!
From the Tiger Fishing expedition on the mighty Zambezi to sleeping in a hut on the banks of the river. Thank you Piet and Kennister for your hosting us :-) It was fabulous spending time at your lodge. We felt relaxed and at home and we were sad to leave. We will be back!

Zambezi Mubala is a fantastic camp. All the staff, especially your camp manager Katherina, were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The boat cruise in the evening was wonderful and Valentine, our guide, was knowledgeable and told many stories about the local people that enhanced the entire experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay and would visit again.
