Ongava Lodge offers 13 comfortable and fully equipped cottages with indoor or outdoor showers. Meals and the common room overlook the almost always busy water point. The rest of the plain can be seen comfortably from the restaurant's terrace. Lions, leopards, rhinoceros, oryx, giraffes, kudus, zebras are only the biggest representatives of the fascinating fauna of the reserve. The guides are first class, always enthusiastic to share their knowledge of the fauna and flora.

Both Richard and I are very well traveled and have been fortunate to visit many luxury places around the world. We have found “Little Ongava” to be somewhere without compare. Namibia is a wonderful country and “Little Ongava” a gem within its many riches. The resort is simply magical, the experience one that provides so many enjoyable and enduring memories, and the staff incredibly warm, friendly and obliging.
Their passion and desire to make our stay so perfect resulted in the most fabulous time anyone can imagine.
The time has passed all too quickly, but we will for sure come back (we are already making arrangements for it).

The rooms are great comfort, large terrace, shower choice outdoor or indoor... decent Food, pool, view of the restaurant's terrace on the water point. But lodge rather large capacity, more world, you may prefer the family atmosphere of Tented Camp.
The best at Etosha National Park and around

The rooms were a far walk (I didn't mind but fyi if you have accessibility issues, it would be near impossible if I had brought my parents with me) and really really rundown (especially for the luxurious prices they're charging). Very little amenities in there and felt a bit dorm-like. The food was also really lacking.
I'm giving it two stars because I did like our guide (even though we didn't really see much on the game drive but not his fault) and the hide was awesome! I wish we stayed longer in Onguma on the other side.
