This camp, located in the heart of the park, halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo, is ideal for enjoying the sunset.
Halali is located in the heart of the park, halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo (8 km from the main road linking the two camps at the entrance to the park). A magnificent and interesting camp for the most passionate wildlife enthusiasts, especially thanks to the Moringa water point, located at the foot of the kopjes (granitic rocks) which invites the savannah to quench their thirst. Once the gates of the park are closed, the place is ideal to enjoy the sunset and to continue observing the fauna thanks to powerful projectors that do not seem to disturb the animals.

In die Jahre gekommen ... unter Staatlicher Verwaltung .... was soll man noch mehr schreiben ..... als .... Schlecht geführt wie alle staatlichen Unterkünfte von NWR.

You pay for the location and privilege to be in the park and drive earlier. Etosha itself is amazing but the resorts are rundown, pool is dirty and the restaurants are not good. Especially when you compare to all the lodges right outside the national park...

Halali war in unseren Augen das 2t beste Camp der 3 Hauptcamps. Leider ist hier ebenfalls deutlich zu merken das nichts Instand gehalten wird. Die Märkte man insbesondere an der Sanitäranlagen, dem Pool und auch dem Restaurant. Auch hier sind die Mitarbeiter scheinbar mehr von den Campern „belastet“ als das sie gerne dort arbeiten. Das Wasserloch ist jedoch ebenfalls wie der Nightdrive lohnenswert (nur leider sind die Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie die Spotlights am Wasserloch heruntergekommen)

Hier könnte man länger verweilen. Es war alles in Ordnung, sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufgestellt. Das Essen war sehr gut.
