Cozy wine bar with charming rooms, ideal for a stay in Cape Cross and exploring Skeleton Coast Park.
The Cape Cross Lodge is a success. Offering different types of very carefully decorated rooms (with a marine atmosphere, of course), its common rooms with large windows overlooking the ocean make you want to forget yourself for a few days. A small and cozy wine bar built below sea level has nothing to envy to the good taste of some fashionable addresses in Europe. This lodge is an excellent base for visiting Cape Cross, and can also serve as a starting point for exploring Skeleton Coast Park.

Das Zimmer bot alles, was benötigt wird. Die Betten war bequem und warm.
Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls soweit in Ordnung. Einzig der Duschkopf war sehr verkalkt, weshalb das Wasser, bevor wir ihn selbst gereinigt hatten, überall hin spritzte. Zudem fehlte die Beschriftung an den Gefäßen mit Duschgel und vermutlich Conditioner.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am Abend gab es Fisch oder Schaf zur Auswahl, was ich beides nicht mag. Umso erfreulicher war es dann, dass mir ohne viel Aufhebens ein vegetarisches Gericht angeboten und zubereitet wurde.
Dass teilweise kein Internet zur Verfügung stand, war aufgrund der Lage der Lodge in Ordnung.
