Besides the delicious oysters from the lagoon (you have to like them milky and Namibians like to add tabasco to them), they serve good calamari, fish & chips and sometimes even sushi and sashimi, as well as salads for lunch and you can have breakfast just before a marine safari. Good value for money.
THE RAFT
Read moreBuilt on stilts in the heart of the lagoon, the Raft is a fish restaurant very popular with locals, and we understand them! It is certainly an address with higher-than-average prices but with a splendid view and impeccable quality (local products cooked in the European way). We particularly recommend the hula-hula, a small coconut fish casserole that is absolutely exquisite. There is also a bar area and a very friendly pizzeria. In the evening, you can see sea lions frolicking in the lighted water and pelicans swimming.
