Family Hideout is aptly named: nestled in the heart of the Namib Rand Nature Reserve, this little nugget of accommodation offers three spacious campsites, set against dunes where you can see nothing but the desert. The site guarantees total isolation in a magical setting, with robust facilities made from local materials. Many activities are possible: early morning hikes with a guide who is an expert on the local fauna; self-drive 4WD tours in the dunes (provided you deflate your tires); astronomy...
