This border town doesn't have much to offer, but it can be an ideal base for hiking, canoeing or rafting on the Orange River. Don't expect to find anything here: you should go to Rosh Pinah for that (not next door...). A gas station is nevertheless available and sells some basic goods, if needed. We appreciate here the proximity of the Orange River, the view on the South African cliffs and the calmness of this oasis landscape. To think that this water comes from Lesotho, so far away, is a dream..
