Situated in the valley of the dry river Auob, this farm benefits from a remarkable setting. It is necessary to arrive before sunset to go on a nature drive or horseback riding or walking tour. The highlight of the day will then be the blazing sunset over the dunes of the Kalahari. A few kilometres away, the village of Gochas allows you to appreciate the rural life of this sparsely populated region. 25 double rooms with private bathrooms are organized around the swimming pool and common areas.

Great lodge in the Kalahari. Very friendly and helpful. We also booked a game drive here which was cool. Make sure to bring cash as the card payment machine isn't always working.

Die Lodge liegt abseits direkt an einer Gravel Road. Die Zimmer waren leicht in die Jahre gekommen und das Bad war alt und etwas abgewohnt. Leider hat es auch etwas muffig gerochen. Das Frühstück war im Verhältnis zum Abendessen eher rudimentär. Morgens ab 5 Uhr fuhren (rasten) die ersten Autos auf der Gravel Road entlang. Erinnerte an kleine Flugzeuge. Der Game Drive auf dem Privatgelände war eher enttäuschend. Unser Fahrer ist lediglich dem voranfahrenden Fahrzeug gefolgt und hat weder etwas erklärt noch mit uns gesprochen. Das Geld hätte man sich sparen können. Als wir nach dem Abendessen noch etwas an der Bar tranken (maximal 22 Uhr) wurde uns zwar höflich etwas ausgeschenkt, aber das Personal hat demonstrativ gegähnt… nach dem Motto: Aber nimmer so lange, gell!

Sehr schön hier. Das Personal ist immer so freundlich. Es werden auch Pirschfahrten angeboten. Toll.

Wir hatten ein älteres Zimmer, welches nicht gut gereinigt und sehr dunkel war. Insbesondere die Dusche wirkte unsauber. Keine Auswahl beim Abendessen, Frühstück auch sehr übersichtlich aber sehr guter Game Drive mit Wilhelm
