Start Art Gallery is one of the few African contemporary art galleries in Windhoek, with exhibitions and online platforms.

Co-founded by Helen Harris and Gina Figueira, it is one of the few galleries of contemporary African art in Windhoek. Independent, it represents a dozen Namibian artists with remarkable work. The exhibitions are worth a look. The gallery has notably worked in partnership with the German Goethe Institute and the Namibian National Art Gallery. Both a place of discovery and an online platform, StartArt offers art lovers the opportunity to view the artists' works (and buy them) on its beautiful website.
