Located close to the capital (11 km northwest of Windhoek), this small park is a popular promenade for city dwellers. The artificial lake is a water tank for the region (4,2 million m 3). Water sports are convenient, but it is better not to bathe. The park, open all year round and free access, offers picnic areas with barbecue facilities. Penduka organizes steps around the lake and offers a tea lounge and restaurant (closed on Sundays).

Très beau site et belle vue sur le lac. En revanche l accès est difficile et il faut traverser le bidonville poire y arriver, pas très rassurant.
