The Heinitzburg street is lined on both sides by old houses. One of them has become a luxury hotel, classified Relais & Châteaux.

Heinitzburg Street is lined on both sides by the former residences built by Willhem Sander for the German high society at the beginning of the century: Schwerrinsburg (1894), Heinitzburg (1908) and Sanderburg (1911). All three are privately owned and are unfortunately not open to visitors. The Heinitzburg has become a luxury hotel, classified as a Relais & Châteaux. However, you can request a short tour from the owner on condition that you have at least one drink on the spot, which is well worth it, especially for a sunset over the city.

A moins d'avoir une voiture, il faut oublier cet endroit qui par ailleurs ne présente pas un grand intérêt.
C'est vrai qu'on y aperçoit de belles demeures mais qui à mon avis n'ont rien de vraiment exceptionnel...
