This church and the chapel that accompanies it are installed on a panoramic terrace overlooking Morcote. It can be reached by a long staircase (sporty climb!). The interior presents frescos dating from the Renaissance, but partly hidden by an organ, moreover remarkable (17th century), and others, from the 18th century, also painted on the case of this organ. A few more steps and you reach the cemetery from where the view is particularly splendid.

Originality
An extraordinary place, on the one hand for its location. This site offers indeed a magnificent life on Lake Lugano. You will need a little courage to because you must climb not bad steps to get there! But nobody comes to the village of Morcote without up to visit this place. A place that exudes peace and invites you to the mediation. The lover of fine buildings will be satisfied, both in terms of the buildings, and the magnificent frescoes. The place is open to the public.
