On the Italian-Swiss border, 30 minutes from Locarno, lies one of Switzerland's wildest valleys. This is where you'll find the magnificent Villa Edera. Built in 1888 and then donated to the village of Auressio, it was converted into an inn long ago, then taken over and renovated by the current team in 2017. The hostel welcomes travelers in a backpacker atmosphere. The interior is delightful, modern and elegant. A favorite address managed by a friendly team.
