Along the way, hikers enjoy breathtaking views of the Alps and a variety of landscapes: sheer cliffs, caves, springs, lakes, forests and vast flowering pastures. Inns and refuges dot the route, which is divided into sixteen stages ranging from 17 to 25 km.
