Apart from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, the California House is a small haven of peace with its four clean and clear rooms. Very functional, they all have a small kitchen corner. Long stays with discounted rates from one month of booking.

Se cercate un posto sporco e disastrato, l'avete trovato. È vero che costa poco per essere a Zurigo, ne sono consapevole, ma è veramente un postaccio.

Tenía miedo por las malas reseñas al hospedarme aquí, pero en lo personal me resultó todo de maravilla, tuve un problema con el acceso al wifi, me comuniqué por correo y en menos de 10 minutos solucionaron el problema, las instrucciones de cómo hacer el check in son claras y precisas (Te envían todo por correo) lo único malo fue que nos toco una habitación en el tercer piso y la altura era un poco incómoda pero no somos personas altas (mi pareja y yo) así que nos fue bien, no hay ascensor ???? la ubicación está muy bien, súper tranquilo y muy fácil de moverse por el transporte público (A dos cuadras están las estaciones) por el precio me pareció un excelente lugar (Tomando en cuenta que Suiza es muuuy caro) recibes por lo que pagas y sinceramente no iba con muchas expectativas pero me sorprendió ???????? PD: Hay cocina con utensilios y un mini refri

Truly awful, I would spend a little more and avoid a bad experience.
The only good things were location and relatively cheap (fro Zurich)
Many bad elements to this accommodation:
-Awful communication from staff - they do not appear to care at all and also seem incompetent.
-Poor condition of apartment - stains on walls, curtains been taken down with broken fixtures, shower doors broken, so makeshift curtain which clings to you as you shower etc.
-Bed uncomfortable - 2 single mattresses on a double base and one of the mattresses has partially collapsed.
-Fridge and electric hob not working and they did not send someone to repair these despite multiple requests.
-Front door had a large glass pane that was only partially blocked out, so apartment including bed is visible from outside to anyone who wants to look through the largish gap.
-Not enough towels provided for a 10-night stay
All in all one of the worst places I have stayed.
