This place is delightful. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable, tasteful, and very clean rooms. Just a block from the lake and a short walk to old town. About a ten minute walk to a train station or a couple blocks to a tram station.

Very good and quiet hotel in a good location. The room was cosy and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is also varied, and all the employees are very friendly.

had a lovely experience at hotel seegarten! the team is absolutely lovely. the rooms are comfy, the team is friendly and very accomodating, and the location is excellent. i enjoyed the breakfast every morning - so yummy! would recommend to any friends visiting zurich!

Good morning,
We have been pleased with the quality of the service, the perfect breakfast buffet, the spacious room and the hotel location close to the opera house.
On the negative side, my wife and I have found the mattresses too soft, to the point of having back aches.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage. Zimmer sehr angenehm mit Holzboden, gutem Bett und schönen Möbeln. Preiswert, sehr schöner Frühstücksraum und freundlicher Service.

Toplage, ein paar Schritte vom See und Badi Utoquai, nah vom Opernhaus, Stadelhofen und Bellevue . Zimmer gemütlich, Bett sehr bequem. Personal und Atmosphäre sehr freundlich. Frühstück sehr fein: komme jederzeit wieder!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Seegarten. The staff was fantastic, beds comfortable, rooms very clean. The breakfast in the morning is a wonderful spread of local meats, cheeses, pastry's, and jams. We didn't rent a car and had no trouble walking to the main busy parts of the city. It only took us about 15 minutes to walk to dinner by the Grossmunster.

We had a very good time in your hotel which is also pleasant in its furnishings. The only flaw was the sofa in the room which was very uncomfortable for sleeping, unlike the very comfortable bed. The breakfast and the breakfast room, like the room, were much appreciated. You were all very courteous and it was a nice stay for us

The entire hotel staff was delightful! They are the first aspect to mention about Hotel Seegarten! The hotel itself is lovely, warm, comforting…exactly what I need when I’m working away from home as I was! My thanks to everyone!!!

Christy and the rest of the staff were phenomenal! We had a fantastic stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast each morning was great. Location was perfect and within walking distance to everything. The complimentary water bottles were very much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Emplacement parfait, petit déjeuners très bien, mais une chambre assez petite avec salle de bain minuscule, pas assez grande pour pouvoir de sécher avec sa serviette !

Mais le vrai gros problème, que je n’ai jamais rencontré ailleurs est la très mauvaise gestion des bagages conservés pour la journée. Rien ne semble vraiment prévu pour et cela semble normal au personnel d’accueil. J’ai été obligé d’attacher une valise photo dans la cuisine faute de mieux.

À notre retour, vers 16h, notre autre valise seule, au milieu de l’entrée, accessible à tous et PERSONNE à l’accueil pour surveiller quoi que ce soit. Franchement passable et très décevant en plus d’être dangereux.

---- MISE A JOUR DU 5 DECEMBRE 2023 ----

Excellent suivi de la direction de l'hotel, via un courrier reçu hier, qui promet d'améliorer les choses très nettement en ce qui concerne la gestion des bagages. Excuses acceptées avec plaisir ! Nous reviendrons très certainement tester d'autres chambres équipées de salle de bain plus grande. Peut être n'avons pas eu de chance la dernière fois !

Service and Location are great but beyond that a rather middling affair.

Main gripe is the paper thin walls, if you happen to have a neighbour that likes to stay up late watching TV good luck falling asleep!

Breakfast is average at best, maybe for a different palate would taste nicer. Having travelled a fair amount the cold food is nothing special and there is a distinct absence of hot food, quality pastries or varied fruits.

Lovely 2 separate stays (4 days & 3 days) within a fortnight for a holiday & business trip. The room was neat & spacious and the bathroom large and well appointed. Bed and lounge were nice. Wi-fi was excellent. No complaint at all there. But the staff were, as always, the best highlight: everyone was helpful, relaxed and considerate, from the front desk to the kitchen to the room amenities. Good restaurants for lunches and dinners are nearby.

5 full stars again. Look forward to the next time.

Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber sehr schön eingerichtet. Höhepunkt des Aufenthaltes war aber wieder das Frühstücksbüffet.
