This canteen is run by the team at Markt Lücke, a boutique selling jewelry, home decor, bags and accessories made from recycled materials. A little out of the way, it's an ideal place to mingle with Zurich employees during their lunch break. The food is cheap, tasty, local and organic. There are two menus on offer, including one for vegetarians. What's more, every day the chef offers a soup, salad buffet, almond croissants and homemade cereal bars. And to top it all off, a superb panoramic view from the sixth floor.

I love the concept of fresh, seasonal and regional food while supporting migrant background staff and women employment. I will come back soon again and tell more friends about Kantine Hermetschloo!!!
