Looking for a typically Swiss address? You'll find it at Weisses Kreuz, where customers with hearty appetites, regulars and cheerful beer-drinkers mingle... The decor is rustic and the cuisine excellent, extremely copious and affordable. Swiss recipes such as lamb sausage and röstis are served. Pad Thai has recently been added to the menu. Recommended for the hungry and for those who want a bite to eat in a brasserie atmosphere right in the center of town without breaking the bank. Friendly service.

Accidentally ran into this restaurant for lunch. Lots of options in the menu and we chose 2 set lunches, which includes either a soup or salad and a main course. Food is good, service friendly and fast. The server is patient in explaining the menu and the food comes quickly. The restaurant is busy with lots of customers. We can tell most of them are locals given the way they greet the servers and interact.

Pricing is very reasonable in terms of Zurich standards. $50 CHF for 2 set lunches with ample portion is considered a steal given the cost of living here.

Traditionelles Schweizer Restaurant, eine der wenigen der in der Stadt noch überleben.

Das Essen war sehr gut, wir waren überrascht vom Tatar, eine der besten, die ich in Zürich probiert habe, wahrscheinlich das Beste.

Das Cordonbleau ist gut gemacht, der Käse ist sehr gut und eine großzügige Portion Pommes, Bohnen und Blumenkohl. Kurz gesagt, ein Ort, an dem Sie das traditionelle Essen unserer Stadt genießen können, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
