Sehr feine orientalische Gerichte: Meze als Starter, Lamm oder Rind als Basis für viele Hauptgerichte, vegetarische Angebote. Man sollte aufpassen weil die Gewürze intensiv sind. Ein wenig zu laut und altmodisch und die Bedienung war schnell aber nicht besonders vorsichtig. Eines der besten libanesischen Restaurants in Zürich.

I got to experience the delicious variety of Cèdres mezze during new year and I was in awe. I had been craving it ever since. And my first visit at the restaurant was as much of an enjoyment as three months ago. It might be a little pricey, but it is worth every Franken.

I have been to many Lebanese restaurants around the world, but even in Lebanon, where I have been several times for business reasons, the food is nowhere near as good as at Maurice "Le Cèdre". The food, freshly prepared every day, is extraordinary and out of this world! After my first visit to his restaurant, it made me want to travel to and discover Lebanon! Maurice has become a kind of ambassador for his country! The ambience in his restaurant, but also his always friendly and courteous manner, makes you feel like a welcome guest. Keep up the good work "Le Cèdre". I will remain a loyal guest and can therefore recommend you without reservation!

Ich bin schon weltweit in vielen libanesischen Restaurants gewesen, aber selbst im Libanon, wo ich einige Male aus geschäftlichen Gründen gewesen bin, isst man bei Weitem nicht so gut wie in Maurice „Le Cèdre". Das täglich frisch zubereitete Essen ist extraordinär und nicht von dieser Welt! Es hatte mich nach meinem ersten Besuch in seinem Restaurant dazu bewogen, den Libanon zu bereisen und zu entdecken! Maurice ist damit quasi zu einem Botschafter seines Landes geworden! Das Ambiente in seinem Restaurant, aber auch seine stets freundliche und zuvorkommende Art gibt einem das Gefühl, ein gern und herzlich willkommener Gast zu sein. Weiter so „Le Cèdre". Ich bleibe euch ein treuer Gast und kann euch deshalb uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Das essen und das Ambiente war sehr gut! Bei den Mezzeh gibt es was für jedermann und das Fleisch ist zart und köstlich! Man spürt die frische aller Zutaten.

How to say this? Look I’m really not into making bad reviews but I have the feeling that the owner or the manager is needs to wake up! His treatment is so barbaric! Is crazy the frustration this person emanates! White hair small black glasses! Watch out: if you don’t order enough he becomes so angry! I got to say the food is over priced! For the quantity served and the quality of it, not worth it at all.
There are in zurich so many other better places where to eat! Don’t go into this one is really not worth it.

Lebanese restaurant. Excellent value for money (for Switzerland) for the Mezze. The meat is expensive. Le Mezze for 2 people is very good and copious. Cheaper lunch with than dining. Slow service in the evening when there are crowds.
