Ideally located in the heart of Zurich, this bar-restaurant boasts a small, dark wood-panelled room that was once overrun by student guilds. A beam serves as an admission test: you have to pass over it without spilling your glass (of beer). The room exudes a warm ambience, perfect for sampling some of the restaurant's specialties: Zürich-style schnitzel and rösti, fillet of salmon from the Swiss Alps... For dessert, homemade sorbet and chocolate mousse to die for. Pleasant service. Reservations recommended.

Wow. Such a great place. The atmosphere was fantastic. The service quite good and the food delicious. We started with the ravioli started…… yumm. Then the better lettuce salad with apples. This was a well balanced salad. Loved it. For the entree. I had the Zurich Veal in mushroom sauce. It was so darn good. My friend got the beef spatzel. It was delicious as well. Come check this place out. Oh, and a delicious bottle of Italian wine.

Alles an diesem Restaurant ist bemerkenswert gut. Von aussen wirkt es vielleicht unscheinbar, aber sobald man durch die Tür tritt, wird einem schnell klar, dass man an einem wunderbaren Ort gelandet ist.

Die Gastgeber sind äusserst freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir hatten für zwei Personen reserviert, kamen aber zu viert und fragten, ob sie eventuell Platz für vier hätten. Dies wurde möglich gemacht. Das Restaurant strahlt eine heimelige Atmosphäre aus und man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt. Es gibt ausreichend Platz.

Unsere Gastgeber Marco und Thomas waren fantastisch. Sie waren unglaublich aufmerksam und das Essen war erstklassig. Die Rösti war besonders herausragend.
